The judging experience at Mile High BBQ Fest is designed to support the integrity, professionalism, and authenticity of the competition environment while helping create one of Colorado’s premier BBQ competition weekends.

Judges play a critical role in helping recognize the skill, creativity, and craftsmanship of competitors participating throughout the festival weekend.

Official KCBS Judging Requirements

To participate as an official competition judge, individuals must be a:

KCBS Certified BBQ Judge (CBJ)

Judging participation will follow official KCBS standards and procedures to help ensure consistency, fairness, and professionalism throughout the competition experience.
